Choose your hardware
For maximum durability, especially if your dog swims, gets very dirty or if your gear is often exposed to water, sand, mud or salt, stainless steel is the best choice.
It's the most resistant option to moisture, wear and outdoor conditions.
Black hardware is our most popular finish for its modern look. It's beautiful, but keep in mind that it's a painted finish.
With rubbing, tags, snaps, sand or abrasion, the paint can chip over time. If the piece then stays exposed to water or moisture for a long time, small rust spots may appear.
Our gear is made for real life outdoors, when it's time to be outdoors. To make it last for years: avoid leaving it outside permanently, don't leave it lying on the ground unnecessarily, and hang it up to dry after big outings.

Low-maintenance & long-lasting

Our Biothane gear gets its shine back in seconds, with no odour and no effort. Waterproof, durable and handmade in Canada, it's ready for all your next adventures.
As for hardware, our parts are chosen for their strength and durability. But like any mechanism used in real life — a snap, a carabiner, a hinge or a gear — they need a little maintenance to keep working smoothly for years.
After outings in sand, mud, snow, salt or water, it's normal for a snap to collect small debris and close less smoothly if it's never cleaned. They're not magic parts: they're good parts, but they live outdoors with your dog.
To extend their life, rinse the hardware with clean water after big outings. Use a stronger stream of water if sand, salt or mud is stuck in the mechanism. Let it dry completely, then use compressed air if needed to remove residue. A small drop of metal-safe lubricant can also help if the mechanism becomes less smooth.
Always inspect snaps before use. Simple maintenance, done at the right time, helps your gear stay beautiful, safe and enjoyable to use for a long time.

⚠️ Important: The TPU layer is not chew-proof. Just like traditional nylon or leather leashes and long lines, it can easily be damaged if your pup chews on it.
Because of this, never allow your dog to chew on their lead, and never leave them tethered unsupervised. If a dog happens to run off while dragging a long line, they need to be able to get loose in an emergency.

Super collier, mais j’ai commandé la même grandeur que les autres de ma commande, mais trop grand pour mon chien

On comprend que c'est décevant quand le collier n'est pas de la grandeur souhaitée!
On aimerait toutefois clarifier la situation. Comme il s'agit d'un porte-médaille 13'' non ajustable, on ne peut pas le comparer à un collier ajustable 9-13'' :), ce n'est pas la même mesure qui est nécessaire. Un se détache et s'ajuste, l'autre est fixe et s'enfile par la tête.

Pas la bonne taille
La mesure de la tete de mon Jack russel est 13pc.
Une fois l'item passer il reste a mi cou car cette race a bcp d'épaule/muscle.
Jai déjà contacté le service la semaine dernière, j'attends de pouvoir avoir un modèle plus grand.

J’aime beaucoup notre porte-médaille. C’est une produit vraiment pratique puisque nous n’utilisons pas de collier pour les sorties ( seulement des harnais ). La qualité du matériel semble super. J’aime beaucoup qu’il soit siiiii minimaliste. La seule chose c’est que j’avais commandé une taille qui déjà allait être un peu lousse,mais valait mieux ça que de ne pas entrer et au final il fait au moins 1/2 pouces de plus,donc il est trop grand pour être porté sans qu’il tombe sur ses oreilles quand il se penche. Ça ne remet pas en question la qualité et le service que j’ai reçu. Merci
