Which collar is best for a small dog like a Chihuahua?

Our small dog collar is made for them: 1/2 in wide Biothane, ultra-light, so it barely weighs anything on the neck. It's waterproof, doesn't hold water or odours, and stays put even on very energetic little dogs.
What neck size fits the small dog collar?

It adjusts from 5 to 9 in around the neck. Measure your dog's neck where the collar will sit: you should be able to slide one finger between the collar and the neck. Over 9 in, choose our regular clip collar.
Is the small dog leash right for every small dog?

It's designed for light little dogs: 1/2 in wide, 6 ft long, very light and easy to handle. It isn't made for a stronger dog or one that pulls a lot: for them, choose a regular leash.
Can I walk two small dogs with one leash?

Yes, with our coupler for two small dogs. Each branch is 24 in long and the snaps swivel 360° so the dogs don't get tangled. It clips onto our Tanzo leashes. For medium, large or pulling dogs, choose the regular coupler.
Is Biothane too heavy for a small dog?

No. Our small dog collar and leash are made of 1/2 in Biothane, much lighter than our regular models. Your little dog gets the same benefits: waterproof, zero odour, cleans in seconds.

Can I match the collar and leash?

Is the small dog collar suitable for a puppy?

Yes, for a small-breed puppy with a neck between 5 and 9 in. Puppies grow fast, so check the fit often to keep it comfortable.
How do I clean my small dog's collar or leash?

Rinse with lukewarm water, add a little mild soap if it's very dirty, then wipe dry. Biothane is clean again in seconds and dries quickly.
What if the size doesn't fit?
