It is made up of 2 parts, attached together by metal slides. Most of it is the one that goes around your dog&#8217;s neck. The smaller part is used to adjust the collar when walking on a leash. a martingale is an extremely useful working tool when walking on a leash. With the Martingale collar, your dog never feels an obligation to follow his master, but an invitation to follow when the small part of the collar is stretched with the leash. It is used for training with positive reinforcement dog training methods. For people who have dogs that escape or want to remove their collar, the martingale will stay in place and your dog will too!<\/p>\n<p><em>The pattern in the photo may vary slightly on your necklace.
